Розуміння географії поляризації та периферизації

У вересні 2015 року у видавництві “Palgrave Macmillan” (Велика Британія та США) в серії «Нова географія Європи» вийшла друком колективна монографія «Розуміння географії поляризації та периферизації».

До авторського колективу входять вчені Німеччини, Великої Британії, США, Естонії, Фінляндії, Данії, Угорщини, Словаччини, України, Румунії, Росії. Монографія включає чотири розділи: «Теоретичний бекграунд та методологічні міркування», «Роль різноманітних соціально-політичних агентів у виробництві периферії», «Фрагментоване та реляційне конструювання периферійності», «Різні форми та зв’язки між ядрами та периферіями».

До монографії окремим підрозділом увійшла робота київських географів на тему «Виклики пострадянського розвитку України: економічні трансформації, демографічні зміни та соціально-просторова поляризація» (автори – Костянтин Мезенцев, Григорій Підгрушний, Наталія Мезенцева).
